Intelligent Private Cloud Management Platform

A private cloud is an extension and optimization of an enterprise's traditional data center to provide storage capacity and processing power for a variety of functions. Private cloud management platform is built for customers to use alone, therefor the data, security, and service quality are better guaranteed than public clouds. A private cloud is enterprise storage solution exclusive to the customer, so the user has the basic setup to build the cloud and can control how applications are deployed on this setup. In the private cloud model, the resources of the cloud platform are dedicated to a single organization with multiple users. A private cloud can be owned, managed, and operated by the organization, a third party, or a combination of both. A private cloud can be deployed either inside an organization or outside.


IoT Hardware Requirements for Private Cloud Management Platform

Requirement 1: Computing performance (Xeon processor)

E3 or E series, using the C226 and C246 platforms to support the E3 series, using the C246 platform to support the latest E series, processors.

E5 or Gold and Silver Series ("Gold" and "Silver" in Xeon Scalable Series), using the C612 platform to support dual-channel E5 series, using the C621 platform to support the latest Gold and Silver series, processors.



Requirement 2: Data Analysis (Data Storage)

E3 or other E series products support 4-bay DDR expansion.

E5 or gold and silver series products support 8 or 12-bay DDR expansion.



Requirement 3: Artificial Intelligence (Visual Reasoning)

E3 or E series products, support 1*PCIE16X graphics card expansion, or 1-2 MXM graphics card expansion.



Requirement 4: IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface)

IPMI can span different operating systems, firmware, and hardware platforms, it can intelligently monitor, control, and automatically report the operating status of a large number of enterprise storage server to reduce costs of enterprise storage system in server. All products provide IPMI interfaces.
